How to get good answers

  • Ask about the rule, not the outcome. "What does Texas law say about…" works better than "Will I win…".
  • Name the setting. Say whether the driver was interstate or intrastate, or whether a government vehicle was involved.
  • Check the citation. Every answer lists the sections used. Read them on the official sites: Texas Constitution and Statutes and the eCFR (49 CFR Chapter III).

Limits of an AI assistant

AI can misread or leave out part of a statute, and it doesn't know case law or the facts of your situation. Treat answers as a starting point for research. Our plain-English statute guides are written and checked by a person.
